This position reports to:
Service Team Leader
Your Role and Responsibilities
In this position, you have the opportunity to perform service work according to work instructions and in compliance with ABB's quality and safety guidelines. You ensure high-quality customer service daily by planning service assignments and executing them according to customer orders and expectations. Additionally, your strong communication skills contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by clearly communicating schedules and expectations.
Work Model: on-site
This role is assigned to the Electrification, Smart Power division in Baden. Key stakeholders include customers, field service employees, and the internal service coordinator team.
Your Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers on-site to identify optimization potentials and resolve existing challenges
Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and analyze on-site or remotely in the service categories and product areas for which you are certified
Create material lists for service assignments and ensure that all required materials, parts, and equipment are available and in perfect condition
Take on training tasks for field service colleagues and customers when required

Your Qualifications
Completed vocational training as an automation technician, electrician, electrical installer, or a comparable technical qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in automation, electrical engineering, or a related technical field; experience with UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply) is an advantage
Solid knowledge in handling electromechanical systems, diagnostic tools, and field service methods in an industrial environment
High customer orientation, flexibility with changing requirements, and constructive teamwork in problem-solving
German at native level and basic knowledge of English; professional communication in customer contact
Willingness to travel, be on call, and occasional weekend assignments; main area of operation: Region Mittelland / Bern
Valid driver's license for assignments within Switzerland
