About the job
At the Kastanienhof School Center in St. Margarethen, around 150 students from kindergarten to 6th grade are taught in mixed-age classes. The school complex consists of three buildings located close to each other with a shared playground and a large playing field.
To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed class teacher for a 5th/6th grade, 50-100%, for the 2026/27 school year starting August 1, 2026.
You will teach as the main responsible class teacher a mixed-age 5th/6th grade class with about 20 students. Employment in team teaching or as BiSVa is also possible.
You are an initiative personality who holds a Swiss-recognized teaching diploma for primary education, values high teaching quality and enjoys the tasks entrusted to you, approaches others with openness and appreciation and treats them with respect, sees yourself as part of a team and is willing to actively help shape our school, and ideally brings qualifications in the French subject area.
