YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Head of Category Management
- Professional and disciplinary leadership of approx. 6 employees in the Category Management department
- Development and implementation of product group strategies in line with the corporate strategy
- Development and coordination of sustainable concepts and processes that ensure the achievement of corporate goals
- Ensuring a competitive procurement of major components while adhering to budget and deadline requirements
- Leading the development of procurement strategies and conducting negotiations and contract drafting
- Building and maintaining a sustainable supplier base
- Conducting supplier reviews and supporting complaint and escalation management
Head of Procurement Coordination
- Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of a team of approx. 10 employees
- Management and further development of sustainable concepts and processes for continuous efficiency improvement in procurement, as well as support in defining strategic framework conditions and implementing the purchasing strategy
- Establishment, further development, and professionalization of claim management, as well as ensuring risk management along the supply chain
- Support in complex negotiations, contract reviews, and legal issues
- Introduction and implementation of a comprehensive project management approach in procurement
- Responsibility for project controlling from the purchasing side
- Strengthening the calculation processes by increasing the depth of calculation
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- You have several years of solid experience in purchasing, preferably in the international industrial procurement environment
- You have a completed university degree in industrial engineering or business administration
- Very good German and English skills (level C1) in spoken and written form
- Solid knowledge of commercial contract law
- Very good MS Office and ERP skills
- Strong analytical skills, economic thinking, and a high degree of personal responsibility
