HR Manager 70 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client from the Swiss agricultural sector is looking for an HR Manager (m/f/d) for an important business unit at the Winterthur or Bern location. Your tasks include:

• Leading and developing a two-person HR team

• Overall responsibility for operational and strategic personnel management in Switzerland in the role of Business Partner

• Advising managers at all levels up to executive management as well as employees on all HR matters

• Managing the entire employee lifecycle - from entry to exit

• Actively supporting change processes and organisational development projects

• Driving HR digitalisation as well as continuous optimisation of HR processes and tools

• Responsibility for personnel planning, compensation management and performance processes

• Coordination with external partners and authorities

You will look after around 125 employees domestically and abroad and actively shape the future of the HR area with close proximity to the business.

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed higher education in human resources (federal specialist certificate, HF/FH or equivalent qualification)

• Many years of professional experience in a generalist HR position, initial leadership experience is an advantage

• Solid knowledge of Swiss labour law and HR practice in Switzerland, experience in the DACH region is a plus

• Strong social skills, confidentiality and advisory competence

• Pragmatic working style with the willingness to independently take on operational tasks

• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form, good French skills desired

• Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for leadership tasks and operational responsibility
