Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician EFZ, Specialization in Chemistry
Do you enjoy working in a chemistry lab, are you interested in scientific questions, and do you have a passion for experimenting?
Our chemistry laboratory apprentices are introduced to the secrets of chemical research during their 3-year training. Due to our mandate, we mainly work analytically, meaning we investigate what substances are present in the water, their concentrations, and the fate of these compounds. The apprentices work in the individual research departments for 6-10 months each and can learn various methods during this time. The tasks include sampling, sample preparation, measuring with modern analytical devices, and evaluating the results.
Through this system, the apprentices go through various departments and thus receive a broadly based and versatile education. In each year of training, they attend courses in the in-house training laboratory to learn and deepen the fundamentals. We collaborate with various training partners in the private sector, such as Bachema AG in Schlieren, Coca-Cola HBC Switzerland AG in Dietlikon, and others.
Are you in secondary school level A, have good performance in scientific, mathematical, and language subjects, work independently and reliably, and bring a willingness to learn and perform? Then we eagerly await your application.
