Job description
The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva benefits from an enriching multicultural dynamic to which it contributes through its influence within the framework of the mandates it has set itself: teaching, research and its partnership with the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG).
In order to strengthen its team, the Department of Pathology and Immunology (PATIM) is looking for a
Secretary 2 at 50%
The main mission of this position is to contribute to the smooth administrative functioning of the Department of Pathology and Immunology in collaboration with the management and research teams.
Main tasks:
- Ensure the administrative management and budget monitoring of institutional and public research funds.
- Participate in the daily administrative management of the department: managing the management's agenda, handling mail, monitoring expense claims, managing badges and administrative correspondence.
- Contribute to the logistical and administrative organisation of events.
- Work closely with research teams, the University’s administrative services and external partners to ensure smooth information flow.
Required qualifications and skills
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (CFC) as a commercial employee or equivalent training.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools. SAP is an asset.
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English (B1).
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Analytical mind, rigour and autonomy.
- Excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.

01.10.2026 or to be agreed
