Actively shape the data and integration platforms of the University Hospital Zurich and create the technological foundation for the digital hospital of the future. In the Data & Integration Platform team, you develop and operate the Data Platform of Platforms (DPoP) as well as the Integration Platform and ensure their secure, stable, and scalable operation for data and API engineers.

Your main tasks

• Build, operate and continuously develop the Data Platform of Platforms (DPoP) and Integration Platform (MuleSoft Anypoint Platform) on a private VMware vSphere infrastructure
• Build, operate and further develop the DevSecOps stack and its integration into the platforms
• Further develop platform, deployment and operational processes with a focus on automation, stability and scalability
• Ensure platform security, performance, observability and service levels using modern DevOps and monitoring tools
• Close collaboration with platform engineers, data engineers, API engineers and product teams as well as support during onboarding and for the respective user groups

Your profile

• University or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, business informatics, medical informatics or comparable education
• Several years of experience in building, operating and further developing data platforms, platform services or data-intensive infrastructures
• Solid experience with SQL Server as well as in-depth knowledge of database operation, performance tuning and platform administration
• Experience with modern data stack and platform technologies such as Airflow, Trino/Starburst, Spark, DataHub, Power BI or comparable solutions
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, infrastructure automation, CI/CD and DevOps tooling such as GitLab, ArgoCD, Vault, Grafana or Prometheus
• Structured, communicative and solution-oriented personality with high personal responsibility and a strong quality and security awareness as well as familiarity with agile working methods
• Very good German and English skills
