The Social Services of the City of Aarau are looking for a newly created position from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement for a
You support administrative and organisational tasks and take on general central duties such as maintaining documents, providing information, filing documents in the electronic business management system, as well as assisting with material management and ordering.
Together with two other employees, you form a small team and also work at reception. At reception, you welcome our customers and operate our telephone system (Teams). During holiday absences, you cover for each other.
The role requires flexibility for changing working hours according to our opening hours and deployment planning.
As our new team member, you have completed a commercial apprenticeship, have several years of experience in public administration, and are proficient in MS Office applications.
A high degree of discretion, loyalty and a professional approach to internal and external stakeholders characterise you. Your working style is independent, reliable and responsible. You have a quick grasp, organisational skills and think in a networked way.
You will receive a varied and responsible role in a small team at an attractive location. Your new workplace is two minutes’ walk from Aarau station. We offer fair working conditions, equal opportunities and a pleasant working atmosphere.
