The Stiftung Leben im Alter Herisau is home to over 250 elderly people. At the three locations Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, around 260 employees shape everyday life in our homes. Deputy Team Leader with Option to Take Over Team Leadership 80 – 100 %
In the Ebnet house, right in the centre of Herisau, there are 48 rooms or apartments spread over three floors. The proximity to the village centre enables diverse relationships inside and outside the house.
We are looking for our Ebnet house from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement for a committed, responsible person with a heart for elderly people and joy in leadership responsibility as
Your demanding and varied tasks:
There is the possibility to take over the team leadership in the medium term. Due to the retirement of the current post holder at the end of 2027, a thorough and gradual introduction to this responsible role is possible.
- You take co-responsibility for the professional and personnel management of a team of around 29 employees.
- Together with your team, you ensure that our approximately 45 residents feel safe, comfortable and at home.
- You accompany and support your team in everyday care, regularly take on daily responsibility and pitch in where you are needed.
- You maintain an appreciative collaboration with relatives, internal and external specialist agencies as well as the hospitality department.
- You contribute your ideas and experiences and actively shape the further development of our family-like residential area.
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as a certified nursing professional HF or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland.
- You bring experience in long-term care and are familiar with the RAI LTCF instrument.
- You have already gained initial leadership experience and want to take the next step and assume responsibility for a team.
- You work independently, reliably and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
- You approach elderly people with appreciation and empathy and convince through team spirit, openness and a positive attitude.
