Production Operator 80 - 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Operating sawing systems and cutting steel profiles up to 1000mm wide and 25 metres long, weighing several tonnes

• Picking steel profiles using 2x 5t overhead cranes with magnetic systems, adhering to internal safety and loading regulations

• Production feedback of sawing orders in the ERP system

• Loading and unloading trucks and railway wagons

• Quality checks of completed work at goods dispatch and receipt

• Inventory as well as general assistance with production and logistics tasks

What do I need to be successful?

• Manual dexterity with a technical flair as well as physical resilience

• Enjoyment and motivation in working with technical equipment

• Good German language skills, spoken and written

• Completed apprenticeship with a Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)

• Experience in steel and metal processing is a prerequisite

• Crane category C and forklift licence are advantageous

• Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts)
