The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. What you can achieve with us
- You support the Head of Resources & Development in professional, conceptual and organisational matters, thereby creating space for her leadership tasks.
- You independently develop concepts, fundamentals and presentations and prepare well-founded decision-making bases.
- You lead cross-departmental projects, coordinate various stakeholders and ensure targeted implementation.
- You ensure smooth information flow within the department as well as well-coordinated internal and external communication with your organisational talent.
- You support reporting, target agreements and controlling and contribute to the further development of the department strategy.
- If necessary, you represent the Head of Department in meetings and committees and maintain cooperation with internal and external partners.
Which skills are important to us
- You have a completed degree (university, university of applied sciences) in business administration or administrative sciences and have experience in digital transformation.
- You bring further training in project management and controlling and enjoy collaborating across different areas and disciplines.
- You think strategically, analytically and networked and can quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into pragmatic solutions.
- You communicate clearly, convincingly and appropriately for the audience and know how to present even complex content clearly and concisely.
- You remain resilient, flexible and discreet even in demanding situations and deal openly with changes and new challenges.
- We are a bilingual company (German-French), so good knowledge of the other language is necessary.

- Working hours
Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
- Holidays
At least 25 days of holiday per year, 28 days from the age of 45 and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave

Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and comprehensible salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection and civilian service
