The Catholic Church Rontal includes the three parishes Buchrain-Perlen, Ebikon, and Root.
Located on the Lucerne-Zurich axis, we are part of a significant growth region, close to the city, surrounded by beautiful nature. Since summer 2025, we have been working more closely together in the pastoral area, as we are in the middle of the structural transition to Pastoral Area Type B and thus at all levels in a process of church development. Agility and
innovation are qualities we live by and seek.
From January 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we offer a versatile position as
Parish Pastor (60 - 100 %)
(can also be divided between 2 people)
Your tasks
General pastoral care
Design of various services, celebrations, and funerals in the pastoral area including nursing homes
Participation in events and projects
Participation in Café Parish House Garden
Planning and coordination of the parish newsletter
Liturgical accompaniment of the reconciliation path
Support of volunteer groups
You bring
Open theology and spirituality
Team-oriented, committed personality
Willingness to collaborate in the pastoral area
Completed theology studies and professional introduction of the Diocese of Basel or equivalent qualification
Independent, structured way of working
