Tasks:
- examines and ensures the management of legal matters related to the areas of competence of the Justice Division, the administrative units subordinate to it, particularly the executive sector.
- prepares drafts of messages, bills, regulations, and directives in the areas of competence of the Justice Division
- drafts decisions on complaints and appeals within the competence of the Justice Division
- represents the State before the judicial authorities, particularly in civil liability proceedings
- prepares draft responses to parliamentary acts, federal and cantonal consultation procedures, and various correspondence
- provides legal advice on matters within the competence of the Justice Division, the administrative units subordinate to it, particularly to the executive sector
- participates in working groups
Requirements:
- academic training (bachelor + master or license) in Swiss law with a lawyer's certificate
- good knowledge of the main Microsoft IT tools and a propensity for digitalization
- excellent language skills in Italian (conversation and writing), good spoken and written knowledge of French and German
- positive and proactive attitude, critical sense, precision, reliability, and confidentiality
- decision-making, analytical, and synthesis skills
- goal-oriented
- ability to work independently and in a team, flexibility, skills in managing workload
- availability and strong communication skills
- excellent conduct, no previous convictions
- Swiss citizenship
Special observations:
- willingness to operate in various administrative units in the cantonal territory subordinate to the Justice Division
- the position of Jurist I (class 10) can only be assigned to candidates with complete academic qualifications: university degree, master's degree, or professional university school (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits) and who have at least 15 years of professional experience in the required field
- the position of Jurist II (class 9) will be assigned to candidates with less than 15 years of professional experience in the required field and with complete academic qualifications: university degree, master's degree, or professional university school (Bachelor + Master 270/300 ECTS credits)

Employment conditions:

- working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
