At the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (Clinic Director Dr med Angelo Bernardon), children and adolescents up to the age of 18 are treated. The clinic's integrated treatment offering includes an outpatient area with a central outpatient clinic as well as four outpatient clinics distributed across the canton, a consultation and liaison service, and an inpatient area with an acute ward, two psychotherapy wards, a day clinic, and a clinic school. The teams consist of clinical professionals from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing, and social pedagogy, and the clinic school employs teachers and special education teachers. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy is a teaching hospital of the University of Zurich and a certified training centre Category A.

Profile

• You have successfully completed training in social pedagogy or nursing (HF/FH) and already have professional experience, preferably in psychiatry
• You have experience in working as a key person with children and adolescents
• You are flexible, committed, resilient, and a responsible personality with enthusiasm for demanding patient care in a lively environment
• You speak or write fluent German and have a confident command of common Office applications

Tasks

• You support and promote the social and emotional skills and abilities of the patients (aged 7 to ?18 years) in the milieu-therapeutic setting
• You help organise the daily structure of the patients in collaboration with the team and other professional areas
• In emergency situations, you act competently and provide children and adolescents with security
• You share responsibility for implementing the treatment plan
