For our 4-member team "Sports Textile" we are looking for YOU as a Product Developer in Seasonal Sports. With your absolute can-do personality and great passion for sports, you will contribute to the development of the Swiss Olympic Collection and the expansion of a needs-based seasonal sports range.
You ensure the production process, quality assurance, and timely delivery. Your technical know-how will also be required in the development (processing, fit, measurements, etc.). You can expect close collaboration with Swiss Olympic as well as internal interfaces. Responsibilities:
- Development and design of the Swiss Olympic Collection in close collaboration with product management and participation in projects
- You will dive into the further development of the textile seasonal sports area and can bring new ideas with your creative mind
- You will also create technical documents (Adobe Illustrator designs, BOMs, size charts, and worksheets)
- Processing as well as creating sample comments (measuring samples, conducting fittings, and commenting on samples)
- You ensure product quality: requesting and approving fabric, yarn, and component colors
- Additionally, you will monitor the delivery dates of counter samples, size sets, sales samples, and production
- You will enter data for model registration in the purchasing calculation list (material composition, weight, customs tariff number, etc.)
- Finally, you will maintain good collaboration with internal partners such as marketing, sales locations, and our online shop
- You have a basic education in retail or commercial training (ideally in the fashion or sports industry) and have completed further training at a textile school or in purchasing
- At least 2 years of professional experience in product development
- Very good textile knowledge (fabrics, processing, cutting techniques) as well as experience in assessing fits and processing
- Good knowledge of Illustrator/Photoshop is required
- For flawless communication with partners and suppliers, you bring confident German as well as very good English skills
- You are an absolute team player with a confident appearance and can represent your opinion well, but also show yourself to be cooperative and adaptable
- Your profile is rounded off by your high service orientation, responsible working style, and efficient work organization
