SEVERAL PERMANENT SOCIAL EDUCATORS FOR OUR ADOLESCENT UNIT AT 80%
Your mission
- Support and supervise young people aged 14 to 18 in their daily lives, gather their difficulties, listen to them, support and guide them in their life project
- Have a motivating approach for their future educational and/or professional training
- Design, develop and implement, in collaboration with the educational team and the home manager, educational projects conducive to the development of each young person
- Participate in the analysis of complex situations and the development of adapted and evolving actions
- Develop activities responding to the needs and wishes of young people
- Welcome and support parents in their parental role
- Work closely with network partners, particularly placement services and courts, and create new partnerships
- Ensure the safety of our reception facilities and offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere for young people and teams, ensuring their well-being and development

Your profile
- Training as a social educator, psychologist, mental health nurse or equivalent qualification
- For foreign qualifications, SEFRI recognition
- Confirmed professional experience of at least 10 years with adolescents in residential care, open environment or specialised prevention and in supporting families in difficulty
- Ability to understand and manage complex situations, resolve conflicts and negotiate
- Empathetic approach and sensitivity to child protection
- A collaborative personality appreciating teamwork and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience with populations of adolescents in difficulty; risk behaviours, addictions, mental health issues, etc.
- Ability to develop reflective practice on professional activities.
- Availability for irregular hours during day, night and weekends
- Driving licence required
