Exciting tasks await:

• Co-responsibility for managing the nursery including ensuring safety and an orderly operational process
• Care and supervision of assigned, mostly unskilled male prisoners from various countries of origin
• Cultivation and partial further processing of various vegetable types
• Economic, timely and quality-compliant handling of (production) orders, processing and packaging of various products made of plastic, metal and liquids
• Performing weekend duties (approx. 15 weekends per year)

What you bring:

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) in the green or craft sector. We welcome motivated, willing-to-learn craftsmen/women from other professional fields who are ready to familiarise themselves with the diverse tasks of the nursery
• Federal specialist certificate as a specialist for justice custodial services or willingness to acquire such a certificate alongside work
• Good communication skills, tolerance and enjoyment in dealing with people of different origins. Oral knowledge of a foreign language (E/F/S/I) is an advantage but not mandatory
• Robust health, resilience, independence, reliability as well as ability to accept criticism and handle conflicts
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal and debt register extract)

Your working environment

At the Lenzburg Correctional Facility , persons sentenced to imprisonment or to a custodial measure are cared for. The facility offers 380 custodial places for closed custody, remand detention and short sentences.
