Your Area of Responsibility
- Professional and personnel management of the intensive care unit (8 beds certified for category B) ensuring high-quality care for patients in the ICU.
- Responsibility for the organization and further development of intensive care medicine and nursing under the administrative management of the Medical Clinic and the Institute for Anesthesia.
- Supervision, training, and coaching of the medical and nursing team in the intensive care unit
- Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards in the field of intensive care medicine
- Participation in strategic topics of the department
- Participation in the on-call/background service of intensive care medicine as well as within the Medical Clinic
Your Competencies
- Specialist title in intensive care medicine or anesthesiology & intensive care medicine (FMH or equivalent)
- Specialist title in general internal medicine (FMH or equivalent)
- Experience in a leading medical position in intensive care medicine
- Leadership skills and experience in team management (medical and interprofessional)
- Enjoyment in training and further education of assistant doctors and nursing staff
- High commitment to quality, process optimization, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent German language skills; ideally
experience in the Swiss healthcare system
