About the job
Your new role
In your new role as a Specialist in Children, Family, Gender, you will actively contribute to analysing the situation and needs of families with adolescents and children in the city of St. Gallen and, together with existing institutions, seek solutions to ensure the quality of life for families. Furthermore, it is important to incorporate gender-related perspectives into political concepts and measures as well as within administrative tasks. You can expect a varied and interesting range of duties, from implementing concepts, providing information, participating in projects, to drafting reports or proposals for the City Council or Parliament. With your commitment, you promote equal opportunities and equality of all genders and ensure safety, security, and opportunities for development for families and children.
This position is for you if you
- are enthusiastic about helping to shape the promotion of children in preschool and actively contributing to equal opportunities for all genders.
- enjoy working solution-oriented with different stakeholders, think across departments, and possess strong social skills.
- have already gained experience in project participation or project management.
- hold a tertiary-level qualification (FH/University) in Social Work or Social Sciences.
- ideally have experience in the public sector or a comparable environment.
