The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. The Service Centre, as the service centre of the IV Office Bern, ensures that processes, services and benefits are provided efficiently, uniformly and with high quality.
The Benefits & Billing team ensures the efficient processing of invoices and benefit claims. In your role as a clerk, you ensure that benefits are paid out in accordance with the legal basis.
What you can achieve with us
- You ensure that invoices in the IV area are carefully checked and benefits can be paid quickly, correctly and transparently.
- You check invoices not only formally but also in content: you recognise whether services correspond to the cost approval, whether tariffs have been applied correctly and whether everything is fully documented.
- You independently clarify queries, communicate clearly with internal and external contacts and help to resolve open issues quickly.
- You are an important contact person for insured persons, doctors, hospitals, medical supply providers and other partners and make a direct contribution to reliable and customer-oriented service with your work. With your pharmaceutical or medical background, you take on an important role in the professional checking and support of medication services.
Which skills are important to us
- You have completed training as a pharmaceutical assistant and ideally have 1-2 years of professional experience.
- Friendly and clear communication in German and spoken French characterise you.
- With a committed and responsible way of working, you keep an overview even in stressful situations and set priorities profitably for our customers.
- Empathy, appreciation and collegiality are a matter of course for you.
- Thanks to your flexibility, you remain calm even in hectic moments.
- You are motivated to contribute to this exciting task.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so active knowledge of the respective other language is desired.

Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
