About the job
Here you actively shape a new practice – with complete infrastructure, an existing patient base, and without entrepreneurial risk.
You start without elaborate acquisition and can rely on an existing, well-filled patient base from the outset. At the same time, you enjoy a high degree of entrepreneurial freedom without having to bear the administrative burdens of your own practice: As an infrastructure user, you benefit from the existing practice premises, established procedures, and support from the practice staff. 40% of the revenue you generate remains directly with you, while the remaining share covers the use of the infrastructure and the comprehensive support services of the practice. This way, you combine the advantages of self-employment with the security and relief of an established practice structure.
The practice is aimed at people with complex mental illnesses and focuses on continuity, stability, and recovery-oriented care. From the start, you work in an interprofessional setting: An Advanced Practice Nurse (Psychiatric Mental Health) takes on clinical coordination and monitoring, while an experienced senior physician in the background is available for professional advice.
Your tasks:
- Outpatient psychiatric diagnostics and assessment of progress
- Medication treatment and medical prescriptions
- Participation in crisis interventions
- Close collaboration with nursing, psychology, and home care services
- Professional exchange within the interprofessional team
- Co-design of practice structures and treatment concepts
Your competencies:
- Specialist title Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (FMH or equivalent)
- At least three years of professional experience in Switzerland
(mandatory to meet the official requirements for this activity) - Enjoyment of outpatient psychiatric work
- Interest in integrated care models
- Structured, reflective, and responsible working style
- Affinity for complex clinical pictures (e.g. trauma) is an advantage
Your benefits:
- Outpatient work without night and weekend duties
- Flexible workload (40-100%)
- No financial risk, no administrative overload
- Support from Advanced Practice Nurse and home care services
- Senior physician as a professional resource in the background
- Existing patient base from the start
- Opportunities to help shape a newly emerging practice
- Modern working approach: clear roles, short paths, trust
