For the Technical Systems group of the Building Technology section, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Planning and execution of legally required and operationally necessary inspections and maintenance of all cranes and lifting equipment at PSI
- Ensuring complete documentation including maintaining the crane logbook and crane journal
- Troubleshooting and repairs on cranes and lifting equipment including control parts
- Implementation of technical modifications such as installation of travel limiters or connection of radio controls
- Dismantling of crane systems
- Assistance with the inspection of lifting gear and load handling equipment
- Assistance with the planning of new cranes and lifting equipment, evaluation of requirements, obtaining quotes, and handling including construction management
- Support of general tasks within the group
Your profile
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g., polymechanic, automation technician, electrician, or equivalent)
- Several years of experience as a service technician for industrial crane systems including control technology
- Continuous specialized training in the field of crane service
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Good computer skills
- Good physical condition, especially no fear of heights
