Nurses in the Visceral Surgery Department
For the Visceral Surgery Hospitalisation Service, we are looking for two nurses at a workload between 80% and 100%, for a start date from July 2026 or to be agreed, to complete the team.

Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.

Mission
- You are responsible for identifying, planning, executing and evaluating nursing care in the preventive, curative, palliative and educational fields
- You ensure the performance of delegated medical acts and guarantee their quality and safety
- You actively participate in welcoming patients and their relatives, as well as in organising and ensuring the continuity of the unit's activities (evening or night shifts)
- You contribute to the supervision of students and trainees as well as to the integration of new colleagues
- You participate in interdisciplinary work and promote collaboration within the team.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Red Cross, mandatory)
- Ideally, you have post-diploma training in intermediate care (an asset)
- You have good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
- You demonstrate analytical and synthetic thinking, as well as a sense of responsibility and adaptability
- You possess good organisational skills
- You master common computer tools
- You are proficient in spoken and written French (minimum B2 level).
