Your Tasks
The Institute of Information Management (IWI-HSG) is one of the larger institutes at the University of St.Gallen. Help us shape the interface between research, teaching, and practice: In this versatile position, you take on a central role in the institute and ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Your tasks
- You are the right hand of the managing director of the institute and support him in the operational day-to-day business as well as in the preparation and execution of management meetings;
- You are the central contact point internally and externally and ensure the smooth running of the institute's daily operations;
- You are responsible for financial and administrative personnel processes at the institute and independently handle tasks in these areas;
- You are the contact person for the IT, HR, and real estate departments of the university.

Your Profile
Your profile
For this demanding position, you ideally bring the following qualifications and characteristics:
- Commercial basic training with several years of professional experience, ideally supplemented by further training as an executive assistant, HR clerk, or finance clerk
- Interest in financial and personnel topics
- Very good knowledge of common office applications; further IT skills or pronounced IT affinity are an advantage
- Confident German and very good English skills
- Assertiveness, resilience, and discretion
- Calmness and humor
- Enjoy working in a dynamic team
