The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn specialises in the education and care of children and adolescents with cognitive and/or multiple impairments.
The Health Service is responsible for and coordinates the topics of health, care and hygiene at the Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn. It ensures the professional and high-quality health and nursing care of the children and adolescents and guarantees the implementation of legal, professional and institutional requirements.
As a nursing specialist unit, the Health Service supports and advises employees, managers as well as children and adolescents, their parents and legal representatives on health and care-related issues. Through professional advice, training and practical coaching, it contributes to safe implementation in everyday life and the continuous development of care quality.
Your Tasks
- You ensure the needs-based, safe and high-quality nursing care of the children and adolescents.
- You develop and establish nursing standards, processes and concepts and accompany their implementation in everyday life.
- You ensure compliance with legal, professional and institutional requirements as well as quality and hygiene standards throughout the Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn.
- You advise and support employees, children and adolescents as well as their parents and legal representatives on nursing and health-related issues and conduct practical coaching.
- You coordinate collaboration with general practitioners, specialists, therapists and other outpatient and inpatient service providers.
- You are responsible for medication management, ensure safe and professional drug supply and coordinate cooperation with the pharmacy.
- You are the contact person for external specialist agencies and represent the Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn.
Your Profile
- Dipl. Nurse HF (female) or Dipl. Nurse HF (male)
- Experience in supporting children and adolescents with cognitive impairments is an advantage
- Confident and competent action in emergency situations
- Resilient, responsible and innovative personality
