What you will do here
- Work on research projects in the field of wood physics (especially in the areas of wood bonding, wood modification, or surface treatment)
- Support in the acquisition and in research proposals for third-party funded projects
- Carry out service orders
- Support lecturers in teaching and supervising internships, semester, and diploma theses
What you ideally bring with you
- Very good Bachelor/Master degree as a wood engineer or in the field of materials science or equivalent degree
- Interest in research and innovations in the areas of wood modification, wood bonding, or surface technology
- Experience and knowledge in handling mechanical testing equipment and laboratory devices
- Teamwork skills and a high degree of initiative
- Native German speaker, very good English skills, French skills desired
