As an Automation Technician & Digital Specialist, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our production facilities and in the digitalisation of the plant. As a true technical reference, you will ensure the reliability of automation systems, participate in troubleshooting and contribute to the development of digital tools that support our daily operations.

A day in the life of an Automation Technician & Digital Specialist

• Ensure the proper functioning and reliability of the plant's automation systems.
• Diagnose faults and actively participate in on-site interventions.
• Improve programmes, equipment and systems to optimise production line performance.
• Develop preventive maintenance and contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment.
• Participate in the installation, start-up and commissioning of new equipment.
• Provide support and development of the plant's digital tools (MES, SAP, Power BI, Power Apps, POKA, etc.).
• Ensure the reliability of data exchanges between production equipment, supervision systems and digital applications.
• Act as the FAS (Factory Automation System) administrator for the site.
• Keep technical documentation, standards and critical equipment up to date.

What will make you successful

• Federal VET Diploma as Automation Technician, Electronics Technician or equivalent training with experience in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and industrial networks.
• Strong interest in new technologies, automation and industrial digitalisation.
• Good command of IT tools; experience with SAP, MES, Power BI, Power Apps or POKA is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset, autonomy and solution-oriented approach.
• Enjoy working on-site and solving technical problems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Fluent French; technical English is an asset.
