Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out mechanical repairs, maintenance and servicing work on production equipment
- Ensuring high machine availability as well as machine, work and plant safety
- Analysing and resolving technical faults and deriving sustainable improvement measures
- Performing preventive maintenance work to reduce unplanned downtime
- Optimising existing production equipment and actively participating in continuous improvement processes
- Coordinating, instructing and supervising external fitters and service partners
- Technical clarifications with plant manufacturers, suppliers and internal specialist departments
- Assisting with commissioning, machine acceptance, technical modifications and retrofit projects
- Triggering and tracking orders for spare parts in the ERP system
- Documenting completed work, faults and optimisation measures
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a mechanical profession, for example as a polymechanic, industrial mechanic or comparable
- Experience in the maintenance of production equipment, ideally in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Good mechanical knowledge as well as basic knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical engineering; vacuum knowledge is an advantage
- Strong technical understanding as well as enjoyment of troubleshooting, repairs and sustainable improvements
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with a high awareness of safety and quality
- Teamwork, willingness to cooperate and open communication with production, engineering, suppliers and external partners
- Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours
- Good German language skills, spoken and written
