About the job
As an investment fund surveillance specialist, you can bring your expertise to monitoring and contribute to protecting investors. You can expect a wide variety of tasks.
- Risk- and data-based monitoring of investment funds
- Conduct thematic analyses related to investment funds in connection with risk management and financial stability
- Contribute to the continuous development of the prudential surveillance approach as well as analytical tools and data collection related to funds
- Analyze regulatory and economic developments in asset management at national and international levels and assess the need for action
- Subject Matter Expert during on-site inspections in the field of investment funds with fund management and asset managers
- University degree in economics, finance, or mathematics
- Additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are considered an asset
- At least 8 years of professional experience in the investment fund sector, related to portfolio management or risk management/modeling
- Experience in data management and development of data-based models
- Excellent analytical skills
- Proactive personality capable of working independently
- Very good knowledge of German or French (C2) and good knowledge (B2) of the other language as well as good English skills (B2)
