Investment Fund Surveillance Specialist (m/f/d)

About the job

As an investment fund surveillance specialist, you can bring your expertise to monitoring and contribute to protecting investors. You can expect a wide variety of tasks.

• Risk- and data-based monitoring of investment funds
• Conduct thematic analyses related to investment funds in connection with risk management and financial stability
• Contribute to the continuous development of the prudential surveillance approach as well as analytical tools and data collection related to funds
• Analyze regulatory and economic developments in asset management at national and international levels and assess the need for action
• Subject Matter Expert during on-site inspections in the field of investment funds with fund management and asset managers

• University degree in economics, finance, or mathematics
• Additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are considered an asset
• At least 8 years of professional experience in the investment fund sector, related to portfolio management or risk management/modeling
• Experience in data management and development of data-based models
• Excellent analytical skills
• Proactive personality capable of working independently
• Very good knowledge of German or French (C2) and good knowledge (B2) of the other language as well as good English skills (B2)
