Electrician Installer at CIT-S
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S) is looking for an electrician installer for a workload of 80% to 100%, on a fixed-term contract of one year. The starting date is scheduled for 1 October 2026 or to be agreed.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital Centre (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and training.
The Directorate of Construction, Engineering, Technical and Security (CIT-S) ensures the operation, maintenance, construction, engineering and development of the CHUV's infrastructure. It ensures the proper functioning of the technical installations of a real estate portfolio of more than 40 buildings, essential to the continuity of care, research and teaching activities.
Mission
- You ensure the maintenance and operation of electrical power distribution installations
- You manage various technical equipment such as IT installations, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, alarm networks, fire detection systems, emergency lighting and nurse call systems
- You participate in the monitoring and acceptance of transformation and construction works at the hospital site in high and low voltage
- You analyse technical projects related to your field of activity.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as an electrician installer
- You have initial experience in the maintenance of electrical installations
- You can read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams
- You are proficient with common IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
- You demonstrate rigour, autonomy and appreciate teamwork.
