The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Thanks to socio-educational, sociocultural, and associative field actions carried out by the centers and outreach teams, the foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with a general objective of preventing social exclusion.

Announcement within FASe for a socio-educational assistant apprentice (ASE) generalist for the start of August 2026 at the Eclipse youth center.

Job Description

During your apprenticeship, you assist and support the sociocultural animation teams in their daily activities with the audiences welcomed.

You join one of our teams (Neighborhood House or TSHM team) and your field trainer is responsible for your integration and training throughout your journey. To contribute to your success, your supervision is provided by qualified trainers.

During your training, two internships are organized within partner institutions to guarantee you a complete training, meeting the requirements of a generalist ASE CFC.

The course is a three-year CFC and it is possible to complete an integrated professional maturity during the training (as well as a two-year CFC under certain conditions).

Qualifications

You have completed your compulsory schooling and are looking for an apprenticeship in the field of sociocultural animation.

Friendly, you enjoy human contact as well as teamwork and communicate easily with your interlocutors.

You are ready to commit to a professional training alternating company work, practical and theoretical courses at school.
