Job description
Supervisory and research tasks in the field of public law.
The terms of reference include:
- Weekly reception, appointments with students, supervision and correction of exams and/or continuous assessment, collaboration in the preparation of course materials (handouts, case studies, case corrections, etc.). The determination of the relevant teachings will be made each semester in agreement with the person responsible and in coordination with the other assistants.
- Research, proofreading, editorial work.
- Usual administrative tasks.
The assistant has 50% of the activity rate for the preparation of a doctoral thesis or other scientific publications.
Required degree and skills
Master's degree in law from a Swiss university, with a good overall average. Master's students in law at the Faculty of the University of Geneva may also apply, provided they have already obtained 240 ECTS credits and that their diploma thesis is about to be completed. The bar certificate is an asset.

The candidate will be hired on a two-year contract, renewable for two successive periods, respectively of two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period, during which the employment relationship may be terminated with three months' notice to the end of a month.
