Within the DRYMET project, which investigates the risks of heavy metals for drinking water resources, you will support the project leader with laboratory column experiments simulating extreme climate events. Your tasks include setting up and conducting experiments with soil core samples, sampling, and preparing samples for various analyses. You will perform UV-Vis spectrophotometric analyses and quantify organic carbon in samples. Additionally, you will assist in data evaluation and thus contribute to the overall research process. In an open, collegial atmosphere, we offer you the opportunity to gain insights into various aspects of soil functions.
Requirements for this internship include a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental sciences or chemistry. You have already worked in a laboratory and can speak fluent English or German. The ability and willingness to learn quickly and work independently distinguish you.
