Our team in the Social Assistance department provides economic and personal social assistance as well as asylum care for persons residing in Illnau and Effretikon. We are looking immediately or by arrangement for a service-oriented and committed individual as
YOUR TASKS IN THIS ROLE ARE:
- Checking and clarifying the responsibility and financial entitlements of applicants according to the Social Assistance Act, the SKOS guidelines, and the Asylum Care Ordinance
- Supporting those seeking help in asserting claims against social and private insurances, employers, and other third parties
- Advising individuals and families in difficult life situations and initiating initial individual measures and assistance in the health, education, or work integration sectors
- Writing reports and decisions as well as various administrative tasks
YOUR PROFILE FITS EXCELLENTLY IF YOU:
- have a degree as a social worker FH or an equivalent qualification as well as professional experience in social assistance.
- have good knowledge of social security and an interest in legal and financial issues.
- have a flair for administrative tasks and find it easy to write reports and applications.
- convince not only with your professional qualifications but also with an efficient and precise way of working and distinguish yourself through your communicative and service-oriented manner.
- enjoy working in a cooperative working atmosphere characterised by openness, appreciation, and mutual respect.
