Legal Officer

About the job

Your main missions will be the following:

• Ensure the quality of contractual documents (excluding employment contracts) by providing legal support to your colleagues, identifying legal risks taken by the institution, and ensuring the validation of contracts submitted for signature by the Management;
• Provide legal advice to General Management, Departments, and Divisions in the context of specific cases, draft legal opinions, train and raise awareness among your colleagues on important legal issues for the institution;
• Provide legal expertise regarding data protection, particularly in the field of medical data processing and in the specific context of scientific research;
• Manage judicial procedures involving the institution and collaborate on complaint management involving a lawyer in cooperation with the Medical Management;
• Participate in exchanges with institutional partners.

Your assets:

• Master's degree in law (ideally health law, public law, or social insurance law);
• 5 years of legal experience, ideally 3 in the health and/or research field;
• Proficiency in French, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German and English would be an asset;
• Proficiency in the Office suite;
• Analytical and synthesis skills and decisional mindset;
• Listening and communication skills;
• Good organization and time management;
• Sense of responsibility and public service ethics.
