The HCN and MCS Contract Controller is responsible for controlling activities linked the HCN Verbund supporting product management and Mono/MPP controlling, as well as MCS contract controlling in light of the new contract manufacturing agreement between NCE and MCS as per January 2026.
Essential Job Functions:

The HCN and MCS Contract Controller needs to act as “co-pilot” for the HCN Product Management Team and the DSM/MCS BL team

Focus on Timely and accurate reporting: Owner of the financial activities linked to the contract manufacturing agreement between NCE and MCS

Ensure there is reliable and transparent data available for both NCE and MCS (customer) à FOSTER GRIT

Be the analytical mastermind overlooking the full HCN value chain in Visp

Support on the monthly reporting and budget cycle for the overall Visp site, with particular focus on supporting the Mono and MPP plant controllers

Educate organization on Financial Acumen and impact: Go-to person for “Finance for non-Financials”

Primary contact within the business and across functions for Financial topics à COLLABORATE ALWAYS

Ensure there is broad understanding of the interaction of Sales, Operations, Working Capital and Cash

Partners with Product Management, Business Line Team and Manufacturing to influence business and site performance by providing insightful analysis, fact-based recommendations and proactively identify opportunities and risks

Partners with other Finance teams such as Business Line Controlling, Site Controlling and Global Business Services Organizations to ensure timely, accurate and useful financial information.

Support of monthly closing activities with responsibility for specific tasks and areas within Visp Plant Controlling incl. monthly reporting (MBR cycle) and forecasting

Utilizes knowledge of plant manufacturing operations, material flow and cost accounting principles, set forth in the Management Accounting Manual (MAM), to ensure accurate product cost development in collaboration with Site Controlling

Supports Target process with Finance, Sales and Operations

Support Business and Site Controlling in compliance to MAM/CCM/FAM

Works in an international environment (English/German) with opportunities to support global projects

Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong SAP skills (CO, FI, BI)
• Reporting skills (PowerBI, VBA, Python, Machine Learning / AI)
