Head of Quality Control 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Management and leadership of the Quality Control team in both technical and personnel matters

• Ensuring and continuously optimising inspection processes

• Participation in the development of product-related inspection concepts and procedures

• Ensuring the administration and maintenance of inspection equipment

• Evaluation and assessment of process and quality metrics

• Technical responsibility for the CAQ system (Babtec) including interfaces

• Implementation of internal audits

• Close cooperation with SCM, production, QA and engineering

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed technical basic training (for example as a polymechanic) supplemented by an additional qualification in quality management, metrology or quality engineering

• Professional experience in quality control within a manufacturing company

• Proven leadership skills

• Professional experience in a regulated working environment (for example medical technology or automotive industry)

• Practical knowledge in handling CAQ systems, preferably Babtec

• Experience as an internal auditor desirable

• Knowledge in metrology (coordinate measuring machines), preferably with Zeiss / Calypso advantageous

• Familiarity with quality tools (for example FMEA, SPC, MSA or 8D method)
