The Migration Office is looking for a
Teacher German as a Second Language (m/f/d)
for the Linth center with an integration character starting March 1, 2026, or by agreement
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: Uznach
What to expect
- You are responsible for teaching the German language
- You are responsible for the schooling of all adults living in the center
- You prepare the participants for an independent life in Switzerland
- You take on administrative tasks such as keeping event logs and creating school and exit reports
What distinguishes you
- You have the SVEB 1 qualification as an adult educator or an equivalent qualification (e.g., teaching diploma from abroad) or a teacher training / pedagogical training
- You have excellent German skills (at least C1 level)
- An additional qualification in German as a Second Language (DaZ) and/or fide is desired
- You are characterized by clear communication and are open in dealing with people from different cultures
- You can set priorities, handle short-term changes, and keep a cool head
- Good MS Office skills
- Foreign language skills are an advantage
