Your Tasks
In this role, you are responsible for the planning, management, and successful implementation of demanding digitization and infrastructure projects, including in the area of ICT basic infrastructure and the digital workplace. You contribute significantly to the digital transformation of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau by efficiently introducing, integrating, and sustainably anchoring modern solutions.
Main tasks / responsibilities:
You take over the leadership and implementation of complex ICT and digitization projects from the idea through planning to successful rollout.
- You ensure that all project goals regarding quality, deadlines, costs, benefits, and risks are achieved.
- You establish a clear project organization and lead interdisciplinary project teams with specialists, user representatives, ICT specialists, and external partners.
- In close cooperation with internal stakeholders from medicine, nursing, administration, and ICT as well as with external providers, you ensure smooth communication and coordination.
- You actively accompany the change process within the framework of digital transformation, promote the acceptance of new technologies, and support users in the successful implementation and use of digital solutions.
- You plan, control, and report your projects according to the company-wide project methodology and ensure transparency in all project phases.
- Within the framework of demand management, you analyze, validate, and document functional and non-functional requirements along the customer journey.
- Furthermore, you create requirements and solution concepts in close coordination with the specialist departments, the ICT service management team, and ICT architecture.
Additional tasks:
- You support the strategic planning and prioritization of the project portfolio in the area of digitization and thus contribute to optimal resource allocation.
- You actively contribute to the further development of company-wide project management standards, methods, and tools and bring your experience into the continuous improvement of working methods.
- With your commitment, you promote the further development of the digital workplace environment and the improvement of ICT service quality.
- In addition, you support the evaluation and introduction of new technologies as well as the selection of suitable suppliers and partners.

Requirements profile:
- Education: You have a completed university or university of applied sciences degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Project management: You have recognized further training (e.g., HERMES, IPMA, or PRINCE2).
- Professional experience: You bring several years of experience in leading ICT or digitization projects, ideally in healthcare or a similarly regulated environment.
- Technology know-how: You have solid experience in the introduction and support of ICT infrastructure and workplace solutions as well as in the use of modern network and cloud technologies (e.g., endpoint management, mobile device management, collaboration platforms).
- Method competence: You have experience in requirements analysis, demand management, and active change management.
- Service orientation: You have good knowledge of ITIL processes for efficient design of service processes.
