Counselling of pupils (basic level up to 9th grade) on (psycho-)social topics
Counselling of school principals, teachers and guardians
Networking and collaboration with specialised agencies and authorities, triage
Advising the school on the implementation of health promotion and prevention
Information and raising awareness on relevant child and youth issues
Professional advice and assessment in cases of possible child welfare endangerment
Class interventions and coaching of teachers on social challenges (e.g. conflicts, bullying) in the class
Participation in a diverse team of school social workers
Higher education in Social Work or Social Pedagogy
Specialist further training, e.g. CAS Systemic Counselling or CAS School Social Work
Experience and enjoyment in working with children and young people
Interest in working in a school setting
Independent and networked working, organisational skills.
Open, empathetic personality and confident appearance.
Independent, team-oriented, flexible, resilient and confident in communication.
A respectful, collegial collaboration and a good working atmosphere
