School Social Worker Spiegel (50%)
- Counselling of pupils (basic level up to 9th grade) on (psycho-)social topics
- Counselling of school principals, teachers and guardians
- Networking and collaboration with specialised agencies and authorities, triage
- Advising the school on the implementation of health promotion and prevention
- Information and raising awareness on relevant child and youth issues
- Professional advice and assessment in cases of possible child welfare endangerment
- Class interventions and coaching of teachers on social challenges (e.g. conflicts, bullying) in the class
- Participation in a diverse team of school social workers
- Higher education in Social Work or Social Pedagogy
- Specialist further training, e.g. CAS Systemic Counselling or CAS School Social Work
- Experience and enjoyment in working with children and young people
- Interest in working in a school setting
- Independent and networked working, organisational skills.
- Open, empathetic personality and confident appearance.
- Independent, team-oriented, flexible, resilient and confident in communication.
- A respectful, collegial collaboration and a good working atmosphere
- Work-life balance: annual working hours, part-time work, care days and home office depending on function
