SIGNAL AG is a total provider of products, systems, and services for signaling, information, parking management, marking, and traffic control, employing a total of 280 staff at its headquarters in Büren an der Aare and 13 locations in Switzerland.
As part of a regular succession plan, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and strong leadership personality to further develop our sales organization with foresight, commitment, and market understanding as Sales Manager 100% (m/f/d).
Your tasks:
- You take overall financial responsibility for budgeting, target tracking, and sales forecasts
- You develop and implement an effective sales and pricing policy with appropriate incentive systems
- You analyze markets, define market development measures, and monitor trends and competitors
- You strengthen our market position through active customer care, new customer acquisition, and offer management
- You structure the sales organization, promote the use of digital tools (CRM/ERP), and build a professional key account management
- You lead the entire sales organization both professionally and disciplinarily and specifically promote the teams
- You work closely with marketing, product management, and project planning
Your profile
- Completed technical or commercial training with further education (e.g., federal diploma in sales management)
- Several years of sales experience in an SME, ideally in the construction, transport, or infrastructure sector
- Experience in project and tender business (e.g., with public authorities)
- Analytical and conceptual thinking ability with pronounced market understanding
- Leadership strength, entrepreneurial thinking, high personal responsibility, and hands-on mentality
- Communication and negotiation skills at all levels
- Very good German and French language skills (Italian is an advantage)
