Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts - Rectorate and University Services supports the six departments of Engineering & Architecture, Business, Computer Science, Social Work, Design Film Art, and Music in university operations and organises and contributes in a versatile manner.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for you immediately or by arrangement as
Your tasks
- You develop practice-oriented laboratory experiments on current topics in computer science and digital technologies and continuously further develop them.
- You operate, automate, and optimise the laboratory infrastructure, especially GPU infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps approaches.
- You supervise, coach, and support students professionally during their laboratory and project work.
- You collect requirements for practice-oriented teaching and learning content, analyse them, and prepare them appropriately for the target group.
- You actively bring in current technological trends, tools, and methods, thereby contributing to the continuous modernisation of the laboratory environment.
- You actively help shape an innovative and scalable laboratory and training landscape within a modern IT organisation.
Your profile
- You have a degree in computer science (HF/FH/ETH/Uni), are currently pursuing a corresponding degree, or have completed an apprenticeship in computer science with relevant professional experience.
- You are enthusiastic about modern IT topics and have sound knowledge in security, IT infrastructure, networking, or system engineering.
- Ideally, you have practical experience with technologies and platforms such as Linux, Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Docker, or OpenStack.
- You enjoy accompanying, coaching, and supporting students and staff in their development.
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills in a technical environment.
