Your Tasks
- Independent medical care of our geriatric patients – from admission to discharge
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, therapy, and social services to develop individual treatment concepts
- Supervision and professional guidance of assistant physicians as well as active participation in training and further education
- Integration of ethical and palliative medical considerations in the care of multimorbid patients
- Close exchange with relatives and external partners to ensure holistic care
- Participation in internal projects for process optimization and quality development
Your Profile
- Specialist title in General Internal Medicine or Geriatrics (FMH or equivalent)
- Initial experience in geriatrics or a similar clinical environment
- High level of expertise and the ability to confidently diagnose and treat geriatric conditions
- Empathetic and patient-centered attitude with joy in working with older people
- Ability to interact appropriately and appreciatively with our patients and their relatives
- High level of empathy, communication skills, and teamwork ability.
- Interest in further developing geriatric care concepts.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as a structured way of working
