The Salvation Army Switzerland, as a church and social non-profit organization, offers uncomplicated support to people in challenging life situations. We manage a variety of different properties across Switzerland in all usage areas (social, church, brocki.ch, residential support), particularly for our own space needs. We see ourselves as a service provider for internal and external clients in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for the area of property management and will manage part of a portfolio in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Your tasks
Personnel and professional leadership of the property management area with 9 employees
Management of a diverse part portfolio mainly consisting of commercial properties and several apartments in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
Active maintenance of customer relationships and relationships with tenants and Salvation Army institutions
Collaboration in renting units to internal residential support / “Housing First”
Preparation of the annual budgets for the maintenance of the properties
Support for sales mandates
What you bring
Completed vocational training in property management (Property Manager with diploma or Property Trustee), experience in property valuation is an advantage
Proven leadership skills
Very good language skills in spoken and written German and French (bilingual)
Experience in renting apartments and commercial properties
High willingness to perform, flexibility, teamwork, and initiative
Security in the area of tenancy law
Independent, precise, and reliable working style
Enjoyment of regular travel
Identification with the Christian core values and the social orientation of the Salvation Army
