About the job
Clerk: Inventory Management & Customer Consulting (m/f/d)
The ETH Zurich is the place of study, research, and work for around 30,000 people from over 120 countries. The Department of Physics (D-PHYS) pursues a diverse research agenda and a broad teaching programme, from exploring fundamental principles of nature to innovative technologies for society. A large part of the approximately 1,500 Bachelor, Master, and PhD students, postdocs and professors, apprentices, as well as scientific and service staff, are involved in experimental research in one way or another.
The Technical Services have the optimal support of the department's research and teaching tasks as their primary goal. The associated D-PHYS Shop provides researchers with around 5,000 technical items. This service on the Hönggerberg campus facilitates everyday research and thus makes a significant contribution to efficient processes. Competent customer advice on the selection and application of these items is a central pillar of the service.
