About the job
The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. The IT Infrastructure Service (IT-IN) is responsible for the procurement and operation of all technical infrastructures of the Zurich Cantonal Police (Polycom, networks, data centres, building services, etc.). Tasks
- Planning and realisation of systems in the area of building services and other technical installations
- Leading projects
- Assisting with procurement processes
- Assisting and/or coordinating maintenance and lifecycle management of systems in the area of building services and other technical installations
- On-site deployments at our traffic bases and police stations
Profile
- Completed training as a police officer (BP) with several years of professional experience
- Completed technical basic training, ideally in electrical engineering or computer science
- Sound knowledge of police procedures and understanding of the needs of police operational forces
- Confident appearance, appropriate communication at different levels, and good assertiveness
- Committed personality who enjoys working in a team
- Reliable, independent and flexible working style
- Interest in new technologies
- Willingness to undertake further training in the ICT field
- Impeccable reputation
