The demand for integration platforms and services continues to boom in all three sectors in which BINT operates. This newsletter focuses on developments in healthcare:

Core Community eHealth Aargau (emedo) switches to BINTmed

We are proud that the core community eHealth Aargau, under its brand name "emedo", will use the BINTmed solution together with Abilis for its EPD platform from the end of 2024. The resulting technical, medical-professional and customer-specific benefits will help the Swiss EPD achieve further successes. Our platform is 100% interoperable with other platforms ("Cross-community"); several customers can also jointly use a facility if they agree. Link

EPD is spreading; integrating patients and caregivers

It no longer takes as long as before to move from baby steps to normality. The article "Future-proof electronic patient record with added value" summarises the status and progress of the national core community "Abilis", which is entirely based on BINT technology.

The key to EPD success is delivering concrete benefits. These increase disproportionately with the growing integration of caregivers and patients for more and more use cases (doctor-patient support, prevention, foreign travel, sport, medication, vaccination, etc.).
