Polymechanic – Assembly with Technical Responsibility
Tasks
- Analysing and resolving faults on locomotives
- Carrying out maintenance, repair, and overhaul work on rail vehicles
- Inspecting and servicing locomotives and their technical systems
- Participating in technical modifications and projects on locomotives
- Documenting completed work and ensuring operational readiness
Requirements
- Completed training as a polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ, agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ, construction machinery mechanic EFZ, automotive mechatronics technician EFZ, automation technician EFZ, electrical installer EFZ, or comparable technical basic training
- Experience in the maintenance of machines, systems, or large equipment
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage
- Experience in the railway environment is an advantage
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
