You will join the Business Risk team at Pictet AM in Geneva. The team is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the business. As an intern, you will assist the team in their daily activities and contribute to various projects.
Your role
As a Business Risk Intern, your responsibilities will include:
• Conducting weekly reviews of counterparty risk exposure from an asset management perspective.
• Supporting the preparation and execution of risk & control self-assessments (RCSA) and control testing across all Pictet AM departments.
• Assisting in the review and response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other similar requests from a business risk management perspective.
• Preparing documentation for due diligence with external financial counterparties.
• Assisting in the drafting of business risk-related reports for various committees.
• Ensuring specific parts of the GRC tool and the risk events dashboard are kept up to date.
• Supporting the management of risk events related to data protection leakage.
• Preparing and sending monthly compliance reports to clients.
• Assisting the team with various ad hoc tasks and projects, particularly those involving process improvement and automation.
Your profile
• Recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or a related field.
• Interest in asset management, risk management, or financial services.
• Proficiency in standard office IT software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
• Knowledge and experience with automation tools and programming languages such as VBA, Python, and Tableau are highly desirable.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and flexible, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Must be a resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
