This is what you can expect
- You take full P&L responsibility and manage the performance of your assortments (Outdoor & Team Sports), including sales, margin, and budget control, and consistently implement strategic and operational goals.
- Analysis of market and consumer trends for targeted further development of the assortment portfolio, as well as evaluation, selection, and integration of new manufacturers and suppliers to strengthen competitiveness.
- You are responsible for independently negotiating terms and framework agreements with manufacturers and suppliers. You ensure the establishment and maintenance of efficient sourcing channels – always with a focus on quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
- As the person responsible for the football and fan assortment, you maintain partnerships with all 12 clubs of the BRACK. Super League from a procurement perspective and drive the content development of the Brack fan shop forward.
- You take responsibility in the area of data management and item maintenance: This includes collecting and maintaining master data, initiating and accompanying the item opening process, and ensuring data quality across all sales channels. Additionally, you are responsible for the correct processing of manufacturer invoices and create relevant reports for management and control.
- Co-responsibility for defining central communication focuses and implementing them in close coordination with marketing and sales.
- Coordination of relevant interfaces as a link and point of contact between internal departments such as sales, marketing, purchasing, and accounting, as well as external partners.
- Implementation and continuous optimization of the pricing strategy across all sales channels.
This is what you bring
- A completed commercial training with further education in product management, marketing, or purchasing, or alternatively a bachelor's or master's degree, ideally in business-related fields.
- Several years of professional experience (2–3 years) in product management, category management, or purchasing – ideally in the e-commerce environment or in the sports or lifestyle industry.
- Solid experience in analyzing assortments, key figures, and market trends, as well as deriving targeted measures.
- Experience in working with suppliers and manufacturers, including negotiation skills, as well as a secure handling of master data maintenance, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Experience in applying cross-channel pricing and marketing strategies.
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills, French is an advantage.
- Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, pronounced numerical understanding, as well as a structured, independent working style combined with strong communication skills, team orientation, and resilience, united with a passion for sports and digital commerce.
